SEO Checklist: What to Do in the First Month After Launch

A website's launch is just the beginning. During the first month, search engines are getting to know the resource: how it works, what's published on it, and how quickly pages become accessible and relevant. If basic settings are overlooked early on, making adjustments later can cost time and sometimes even lead to a drop in visibility. Days 1–3: Lay the SEO Foundation First, make sure your site is crawled and indexed correctly. Enable and check webmaster tools (search consoles), check the domain/protocol (http/https, www/non-www), add a sitemap (sitemap.xml), and configure a proper robots.txt file. Separately check the basic technique: canonical, redirects (301) to changed URLs, the absence of “broken” pages, the correct server response (200/301/404), and also that important pages are not closed from indexing. Days 3–7: Technical Speed and Indexing Conduct an initial performance audit: evaluate the loading speed of key pages and mobile accessibility. Optimizing images, minimi...

Landing Page vs. Multi-Page Website: What Should Small Businesses Choose?

Small businesses often choose between a landing page and a multi-page website when they need to quickly enter the market and start receiving leads. Both formats are capable of attracting customers, but they are suited to different objectives in terms of structure, cost, and scalability. What is a landing page and what is it most often used for? A landing page is a single, key page focused on a specific offer: a service, a promotion, a lead form, or a consultation appointment. It typically sequentially presents the benefits, terms, case studies, and answers to objections, all to steer the user toward a single, targeted action. Landing pages are most often chosen when it's important to launch quickly and measure results. A good option is to run ads (contextual/targeted), A/B test offers, and landing page links (ad → specific page → application). When is a multi-page website better? A multi-page website includes several sections: a home page, service or product pages, "About Us," "Contact Us," articles/blog, project pages, and often separate landing pages for different segments. This format is useful when a business needs to explain its product in detail, showcase its expertise, and address a wide range of needs. A multi-page website typically performs better in organic search: different pages allow you to cover more key topics and queries, increasing traffic and trust. It's also easier to scale a service catalog or expand your geographic reach. Key differences: speed, budget, and results Landing pages often win in terms of speed and manageability: edits are made quickly, the funnel logic is clear, and conversion is easier to measure. However, their limitation is their narrow focus: if the offer and audiences are diverse, it's more difficult to cover all scenarios with a single page. A multi-page website requires more time for development and content, but provides space for structure, SEO, and content marketing. It's best suited for businesses with multiple services, different types of clients, or the need to constantly maintain an informational flow (case studies, articles, FAQs, updates). Launch time: a landing page is usually faster; a multi-page one takes longer. Content: A landing page concentrates information; a multi-page page distributes it across sections. SEO growth: a multi-page website is easier to scale; landing pages are often optimized specifically for a single query/offer. Analytics: A landing page is more convenient for testing hypotheses; a multi-page page is more convenient for tracking the user's journey through sections. Scalability: landing page – for a specific campaign; multi-page – for long-term development. Practical recommendations for small businesses If you have one core service or a clear marketing campaign (e.g., "turnkey renovation," "heating system installation," "courses for beginners") and want to quickly generate leads, start with a landing page. It's important to keep the offer specific, and place the application form or consultation booking in a logical, easy-to-understand location on the page. If you offer multiple services, different packages, and audiences, or plan to blog/publish case studies, training materials, and FAQs, choose a multi-page website. This way, you can build a funnel: users arrive based on informational queries, then proceed to sales pages and are further saturated with content. Often, a hybrid solution is the optimal one: a basic multi-page website with separate landing pages for specific offers and advertising campaigns. This allows for the long-term impact of structure and the precision of landing pages for sales. Ultimately, the choice isn't about "what's best," but about "what will get you results." Determine your goal (current leads or increased traffic and trust over time), evaluate the content volume and customer scenarios, and choose a format based on that.

Website creation, the client understands the meaning and is ready to spend

Website creation, the client understands the meaning and is ready to spend Creating a website, the client understands the meaning and is ready to spend. What does this mean? Customers are different, some are huffing and puffing but can't afford everything. Others are rich but greedy, but there are those who delve into all the details of website building and promotion. And it's very pleasant to deal with them. For example, you need to fill the site cool and uniquely, they don't skimp on copywriters and rewriters, moreover, they add to them themselves. They think over the entire structure of the resource with the master, where, what and how will be located. They select images, logos and icons. They test and only then give the green light for a full launch of the site. And already in the process they change something. They deal with all popular social networks, or rather their managers. They control reviews in Google My Business. They research search queries in Google Trends...

Forced Link Addition for Better Website Finding

Forced Link Addition for Better Website Finding I always help my close clients who run their websites so that their resources, or rather posts, are quickly found on the Internet. Let's start with what is needed for this or how it works. The site should not be young, at least the domain should be a year old. Of course, these are all conventions, it also depends on the subject matter, I took the average value. What you need to have to add in addition to the resource itself. First and foremost, the webmaster's office, that is, Google Search Console, with a confirmed site. In which the link is added after publication, news, blog and the like. Or, more simply, dynamic. Second, my business on the map, which also has the ability to issue a short news item with an image and provide a link to the full site. Third, this is Facebook, a business page and a group if there is one. But like the resource, they should not be young and have subscribers. Additional features: make a podcas...

Why is it important to save a domain and not a website

Why is it important to save a domain and not a website Just a couple of days ago, my old client's domain was switched off, that is, the name of the site, which is 8 years old. The joke is that the company with this name no longer exists, and there is another one. And like many poorly understood people, the psychological thought immediately in their head is - I don't want a resource with such a name. Let's start with the main thing, only in the dot ua domain zone do you need documents for a trademark. If the site has a different ending, there are no problems, especially since my client only changed the name of the company and the type of activity remained the same. And losing such an old site name is complete nonsense, with such an age. Once I was talking about returning a domain  that was more than 10 years old, and the owner was very worried, moreover, he was ready to overpay, if only they would return it. Now the question is not difficult, pay within a month and ...
